Berbuka Puasa Pertama di Bulan Ramadhan 2019

Day 1


Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Assalamu'alaikum Wr. Wb.

Marhaban yaa Ramadhan..
Alhamdulillah.. di tahun ini masih bisa bertemu lagi dengan bulan yang suci dan mulia, bulan yang penuh berkah dan ampunan, bulan yang dapat dijadikan momen untuk melakukan intropeksi diri dan memperbaiki diri.

Tanggal 5 Mei malam setelah waktu Maghrib, Pemerintah pun mengumumkan hari pertama puasa pada tahun 2019 ini jatuh pada tanggal 6 Mei 2019. Jadi malam pada tanggal 5 tersebut setelah shalat Isya, maka dilanjutkan dengan shalat sunnah tarawih untuk pertama kalinya di tahun ini.
Malamnya pun saya dan keluarga bersiap untuk sahur, dengan tidur lebih awal dan bangun lebih awal. Sahur pertama bersama keluarga adalah hal yang sangat menyenangkan dan membahagiakan. Sebenarnya tidak hanya pada sahur pertama, tetapi setiap sahur bersama keluarga. Salah satu momen yang dirindukan jika tidak sedang di bulan Ramadhan.

Selain sahur bersama, ada momen buka puasa bersama yang juga sangat dirindukan. Pada kali ini saya dan keluarga berbuka bersama di rumah. Buka puasa pertama kami di tahun ini.
Biasanya ada beberapa menu yang tersaji saat berbuka puasa, baik yang dimasak sendiri maupun yang kami beli. Dan untuk menu yang sangat populer di bulan Ramadhan, yaitu kolak, Ibu saya hampir selalu menyiapkan kolak di bulan Ramadhan.
Alhamdulillah.. di hari pertama kami berbuka, kami pun dapat menikmati kolak pertama kami.. hehehe..  Setelah mungkin hampir setahun kami tidak memakannya. Karena kami biasanya hanya mengkonsumsinya ketika di bulan Ramadhan, dan itu pun tidak setiap hari.. hehehhe.. karena agak butuh persiapan dari mencari bahannya juga memasaknya, well.. ini bagi saya.. hehehe.. Dan saya juga bukan yang pandai memasak, jadi hanya menunggu jika ibu saya menyediakannya.. hehehhe.. Begitu juga untuk pembuatan kolak kali ini, saya hanya membantu memotong bahan-bahannya dan yang memasak tetap ibu saya... :D

Tetapi, apa pun hidangannya yang menjadi poin adalah kebersamaan ketika berbuka. Hal yang tidak akan kita lakukan di luar bulan Ramadhan. Saat-saat menyiapkan minuman dan makanan untuk berbuka, juga menunggu Adzan Maghrib bersama. Dan menikmati hidangan bersama-sama, terkadang diselingi dengan bercerita atau ngobrol dengan kerluarga.
Di keluarga saya tidak ada aturan yang baku atau kaku untuk menyantap hidangan berbuka puasa. Kami boleh menyantap makanan ringan dulu dan setelahnya baru makanan berat, atau yang mau langsung ke makanan berat, seperti nasi juga silahkan.
Untuk minuman, kami menyiapkan air putih, teh hangat dan kopi. Untuk air putih disajikan untuk semua yang berbuka, sedangkan teh dan kopi disajikan sesuai dengan permintaan atau peminatnya. Bisa dibilang, saya selalu berbuka puasa bersama keluarga pada buka puasa pertama.

Pada buka puasa pertama tahun ini tidak ada gorengan, tidak masalah.. karena yang saya tunggu adalah kolak ibu saya, dan menikmati kopi bersama orang tua saya, juga kerseruan yang timbul ketika kami berbuka bersama.. :)
Sangat bersyukur Allah S.W.T. masih memberikan kesempatan kepada saya untuk menikmati Ramadhan bersama keluarga tercinta dalam keadaan sehat.. :)

1st Experience to Penang

Assalamu'alaikum Wr Wb. 

hi, finally.. I am gonna write about my latest experience with traveling... :D 

Last month alhamdulillah.. I got a chance to visit a new place that I haven't visit yet before.. :) 

It's Penang. Penang is an island in Malaysia, it's called Penang Island. 

There are some good places that can be visited here. Alhamdulillah i visited some of them. I try to share and review some things that I got here. 

First I'm going to talk about THE HOTEL. 

My cousin and I stayed in Grand Inn Hotel in Macalister Road. We searched and booked the hotel through to an application named is Traveloka. As we wanted to stay in a hotel with a private bathroom but the price is not expensive. Alhamdulillah we got this hotel.

I can say that the price is reachable, the type of room that we booked was Standard Twin. And the room was so good. There were windows, a small desk, and a chair, a small space that was used for hanging the clothes. The bathroom was good and clean, the water was fine and plenty. And don't worry about klibat for showing the direction when we want to perform shalat, as they provided it, you can see it on the ceiling of the room. The people were also fine and most of them were helpful people. Oh ya, in this thing we didn't get breakfast, as there wasn't breakfast in this type of room. But I don't know exactly the hotel provides breakfast for other types of rooms or not. Maybe you can check this first before you book on Traveloka. 

Second I'm going to talk about FOOD and DRINK.

I can say that insya Allah it will be easy to get halaal food here. There are many Indian or Malay restaurants that provide halal food and drink. But for myself, I would check the halaal logo first before I entered the restaurant and ordered the food or drink. And the portion was so big.. hehehe.. I mean I think one portion can be eaten by two persons.. :D  .

Actually, there is street food too. But I didn't try it because I worried about the guarantee of the halaal thing. 

Third I'm going to talk about the Mall.

I just knew that many shops are closed on Sunday there. Even 7-Eleven also was close. Surprised me about this, as in Jakarta the shops will be not close on Sunday. As many customers will visit the shops on Sunday. And for the mall, it was open but not so crowded. oh ya.. we visited Penang Times Square Birch Plaza. It's a kind of high-class mall, I think. Because we can find many top brands here.

Fourth. I'm going to talk about the places that we can visit here.
When you arrive at Penang Internation Airport before you get out of here, on the left side of the exit door, you can find and the maps of Penang and papers contain about the information of places that can be visited here. If you see here, that you will know that there are many places that can be visited, such as The Top of Komtar, Penang Hill, Museums, historical places, and also some places that give good views for taking pictures.

Here we can find restaurants and some shops. And the most beautiful place here is the top of this building. We can see the view around Penang from the top, we can walk on the glasses floor. Even we can take the picture too here. On the top floor of this building, there is a restaurant that has an indoor and outdoor area. So the guests are free to choose to seat inside or outside. Evening time is the most beautiful view that can be found here, we can see the sunset and many lamps are getting on.
To get here, we must buy a ticket, and they will conduct us to the room that we can watch a film of Komtar's story itself. Then when it finishes, we will be on the floor that we can see the view around this building from the high floor. It's not the topmost yet. Then we will take another lift to reach the most top. Here we can see the view around Komar building from the highest level of this building.
For you who come here with your spouse, it will be nice to go here in the afternoon till night so you can get a romantic atmosphere.. ;)

Outside of this building, we can find the Georgetown White Coffee shop. It's a nice coffee shop that has a classic building and a good taste of coffee and food. I think it's one of my favorite places.

Oh ya.., I visited one of Masjid too here. I really performed shalat here. It was in Masjid Jamek Perangin. This masjid is not far from the Georgetown White Coffee shop. From the coffee shop, I only walked to here. This masjid provides mengkena/ telekong for women to perform shalat, has a wide area for women, clean toilet and wudhu place. Even there is hand wash too here. I liked to perform shalat here, so quiet and clean.

Penang Hill.
It's like high land here. yes.., as it's a hill. To reach the top of this hill we must buy a ticket and will take the train. We will get beautiful views here, fresh air and heat of the sun too if you come here at noon hehehehhe..  You will be happy to get pictures here, as you can get many good spots to take your pictures or sceneries.
There are a restaurant and a souvenir shop here.

Emm..there is a note for myself or the other who thinks it's important to keep in our minds. In my country to smile to other people, even to the stranger is fine, and it's kind of polite attitude of kindness. It doesn't mean a special attitude or reaction. But here, in Penang, it's not like that. I mean you can't smile at strange people because they will think differently toward you.
